WILLOWS MEDIA TEAM: FOOD CRITICS FOR STRATFORD U AVON COLLEGE

Our four year six reporters were invited to review some of the drinks served in SUAC's restaurant and cafe.  As the children have been studying writing from food critics, this was a perfectly timed task as they were able to assess and anlayse the flavours with gourment expertise.  In the next couple of days their reviews will be shared with restaurant leaders and they will also be found on our website.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to Alan Hastings, Director of Operations at SUAC and Betty Lafeurve, Senior Catering Supervisor.  Betty stayed with the children and Mrs Herrero for the duration of the visit, introducing the group to the different brands and ranges on offer.  The media group are considering running their own cafe in school, so we will continue these links with the college in order to learn as much as possible about catering, food and drink.
