MR NEIL WALLACE, HEADTEACHER OF STRATFORD-UPON-AVON SCHOOL, VISITS THE WILLOWS

We are in the privileged position of being next door to an excellent secondary school which provides us with some wonderful opportunities.  Today, Mr Neil Wallace, the head of SOAS took a tour of our Winter Wonderland displays, visited classes, got to know some Year Sixes (many of whom are hoping to be Year Sevens at his school next year) and had a good look in some class books.

After his visit he sent a lovely email to the school,

"Thank you for inviting me to visit The Willows this morning. I was highly impressed with what I saw touring round the school. The children are clearly making excellent progress as evident from the impressive quality of work in their exercise books. They are clearly enjoying their learning throughout the school. The willingness of staff to showcase their work and that of their classes speaks volumes for their pride in the school. I was very impressed by the boys confidence speaking Spanish. You should be rightly proud of your achievements in leading The Willows towards a very bright future."

He spent the morning talking to pupils, popping into classrooms and talking about ways in which the two schools could work together to support transition and teachers' professional development.  We want to say a big thank you to Mr Wallace and Stratford-upon-Avon school.
